Help Identifying Fungus (Shitty Webcam Pics)

I found this wonderful thing in the woods in southern Indiana. I believe it was growing straight from the soil, but it may have been highly decomposed wood in the ground. Does anyone have any ideas? I?m just curious.

LoL... I hope you didn't post that because you thought it was active. It's a Turkey Tail mushroom, or Trametes Versicolor. I think it may have medicinal value, but it's definatly not active.

Hell no, I knew it wasn't active. I was just wondering if it had any value. I was out in the woods doing something non-mushroom related and just happened to come across it. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.

It looks more like Maitake (Grifola frondosa) to me.
