What I meant was people talk like natural drugs are the only good ones thats why I brought those drugs up. 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine has alot of the same effects of meth and anyone who disagrees hasn't taken both. The both increase heart rate, cause trisma, cause nystygmus, increase sweating along with the heart rate deal, and effect serotonin and dopamine come on the effects while different are still under the amphetamine umbrella.

I'm not defacing MDMA wireless I would never say meth is even comparable on the good effects side but they are structurally similar.

Structurally similar. Their effects on receptor sites are drastically different though. However, most people who ingest E pills have taken a bit of methamphetamine orally as well.

I definately think stimulants can make people agressive and psychotic. I took one dexadrine the other day to pack my apartment and I really did not like that driven agressive feeling. I felt I couldn't communicate with people very sincerely.

I was simply clarifying what you were saying. If someone gets the impression that the neurological effects of both chemicals are as similar as the structural similarity of the molecules, they're getting the wrong idea.

No I meant thanks for not attacking me as some others have, shows you have a life and don't get mad about DRUGS! Some people act like I was blasphemous by saying they are structurally similar of course they are different my original point was that they are both stimulants. Just because one person likes it doesnt mean another will personally I like E a million times more than meth I like drugs that give me something deeper than a high and a headache the next day.

here in australia everyone is on "ice"
i know its meth but they say it is the smokable form, is that how guys in america take meth, because i have never heard anyone ever refer to it as crystal meth here in aus and half dont even know its crystal meth

big problem here in australia, very addictive and some people become real skinny, lose colour and have sores on their face from it

is that what ur meth junky in the us is like?

It is actually habit forming, not addictive. Don't fall for the propaganda machine... in reality, cocaine is addictive, heroin is addictive, nicotine is addictive, caffeine is addictive, cannabis is habit forming, meth is habit forming, MDMA is habit forming, mushrooms are habit forming, lsd is habit forming. (Just because something is habit forming rather than addictive does not mean that it is easy to stop using it once the habit has been formed.)

These problems are not caused by the drug, but by people not taking care of themselves after binging on the drug. Irresponsible drug use, regardless of the drug, will result in these types of problems. Granted, meth packs a double punch... when abused, the user stays awake for a week at a time causing psychotic behavior... and when abused, the user doesn't eat for a week at a time causing the body to fall apart. The high acidity of the street drug coupled with the teeth grinding also cause a lot of problems for those that abuse the drug.

Fortunately, what you think and reality are different. It is lack of sleep that make people on stimulants both aggressive and psychotic, for the most part.

I have tried both and would not disagree with your statement. However, although a lot of the "speed" effects are the same, the two drugs are also very different in every other respect.

Gotta love propaganda... people that have tried MDMA and love it get upset when somebody points out that their favorite drug might have something in common with the horrid, evil, meth that they have only heard about from the government. Rather than accept that the government has been lying, yet again, they attack you instead.

ok meth isn't addictive but habit forming, well then id have to say meth is a drug that is too easy to be habit forming

my best mate while he was on it was telling me it is the most addictive drug he has ever been on, maybe he doesn't really know what the word addictive exactly means but what he means its a drug that is too easy to abuse yourself with

Meth will certainly destroy people that abuse it... but then, the same can be said for most drugs. I have seen responsible meth use as well. My issue is with the "system" that is treating meth like it did crack in the 80's. I don't need the government to lie to me and I certainly don't need to read people repeating the government's lies.

The big problem with meth is the comedown the next day. It sucks, a lot. You are half awake, can't sleep, can't eat, kinda hungry, feel like crap, just want the hangover to end... and you know that if you bump, just a little, the pain will go away (though it will be back twice as bad later). Some people are unwilling to pay the price for their weekend play, and end up paying a much larger price in the long run. However, once through the hangover, one does not crave more of the drug. It isn't like nicotine where you would "kill" for a cigarette after a day or two of no smoking.

Good points Seuss. Meth is often confused with being physically addictive because it is by far the strongest habit forming drug. It's scary how easy it can take hold of you. The hangover is also often confused with withdrawal.

It's kind of like money in the sense that while it's not physically addictive people desire it enough to go crazy over it.

a chemistry professor i had once played for us an interesting video on 'addiction' - it explained the difference between physical and habitual addictions... which led me to this: my definition of addiction is... if you're sacrificing more than what you know deep down you ought to be, just for the thing (be it a drug or anything else), you're addicted.

edit: problem is, often times we don't know or ignore what it is we are sacrificing! such is the beauty of psychedelics, as they can often show us what we've been missing.
