hey club99,
Anything high in millet will work well. Mine has millet, canary grass seeds aka phalaris :smile:, thistle and a few others. The package should tell you exactly what's in/on it.

Your english sounds fine to me...and if you sterilize the birdseed it may take care of chemicals or preservatives but im not sure.

I could think of a hundred things to do with those seeds..
Just one question, are the seeds in question being treated with some kinda of chemical that renders them infertile, i have tried to grow some of those seeds, but not even one germinated ..
Why did I ask that ? just something that came into my mind at the moment, but then all sorts of plants/weeds grow in my garden.... Datura inoxia, cannabis sativa, cannabis indica, lopophora williamsi !
Imagine all those plants, i wonder why ...
But then excuse my rambling !

I don't think there's anything on this specific birdseed that will halt germination (but I haven't tested it to see). I've had birdseed outside (for birds in the winter) that sprouted in the spring, but that was another brand.

Wild bird seed is cheap and probably free of any treatment like that. I know I had just a few grains of birdseed in some jars that had gotten a little wet, and when i opened them up to clean them last night the millet had sprouted.
