A dunk then cold shock combo ? does this work?

I was wondering if I dunked a cake for 12 hours, then cold shocked it for another 12 hours, and then exposed to light for 12 hours what would the flush be like? It sounds like a good idea to me. Will this work?

Why not dunk them and have them in the fridge at the same time? Save 12 hours right? All they need is a little indirect light for a few mins a day...should work though.

The glass of cold water alone is enough to cold shock it. Putting in the fridge guarentees it!
