Yo...he prolly spilled some booze on em or something. If they were dried cracker, then they'd last several weeks, even if they weren't treated wit respect. Sounds like he abused yer little friends.

24 hours in front of a strong fan

2 days on desicants.

only way to prevent this from happening! Mushrooms may seem dried but once you get them in a plastic bag they may still rot if not fully dried. Good luck.

I tried fan drying once.
but all the mushrooms I exposed to the fan turned a bruised blue.
perhaps I did it wrong?

just keep them in a paper bag so they can breathe. It works for me...

I put mine in a plastic freezer bag and inject CO2 from my wifes soda maker and then seal with the sealer I use for cultivation bags. And then the shrooms that I plan to use in the next few months are ground to a powder and put in "00" gel caps. These I put in a vitamin bottle with a silicon pack. I've given some of these frozen shrooms to people a year after harvest and they were still considered the best they had ever had.
