purhaps acid/ base effects magic production? anyone where its legal tried/or willing to try some tests?

read the thread on that "glowing mushroom", they added an acid to the substrate to bring the PH down. then when the mushroom grew on this substrate it tended to "glow brighter".
so if an acid effects that, it would seem "possible" that an acid or base might effect magic mushrooms.
they also dunked their cakes in acid water before flushes.

You are comparing apples to oranges.
Acidic substrates impedes mushroom production in Cubensis.

Actually, cubes prefer a substrate pH of around 5 to 6. The problem is that contaminants also prefer this range. We lime because cubensis is more tolerant of a high pH than molds are.
I've never seen a correlation between pH and potentcy. RR
