Shrooms on soil + coffee beans

Hello all...
Just a quick question. I read that TEK @ the lycaeum, about cultivating shrooms on soil + coffee beans.
NO STERILIZATION and it says it works OK.
has anyone tried that method?
btw: my jars are on day 4 and we dont have sign of anything AT ALL. Thats good i pressume. Only that the rye grains inside are really wet on the bottom and as we go up, the grains become more dry. it can be noticed. I have the jars now in a terrarium, cleaned with dettol (lysol) and closed lid. The temperature inside there is at most time of day constant 39 C, and at night falls at 37 C. If there is anything to comment, pleaz do so.
Thanx!!

Could you give the link to that TEK?
There is nothing to comment, really! You don't say much and everything seems normal... Waiting a few more days for mycelium to appear. With the syringe it can take until 14 days, people say (My Mazas took 8 to show up and 14 for full whiteness).
For the temps: around 27 is ideal when the mycelium began spreading. My mazas are heating the jars from 27 to 29 while colonizing (two degrees above room temp). I make grain transfers and the mycelium spreads very quickly (5-6 days for a 850ml/1litre jar to get thoroughly colonized).
LilMerlin, still waiting for his very first pins.

Yes. Complete failure. If it sounds too good to be true, then it?s not.

Anno i like your way - small and smooth words...
When i posted the message, i hoped 4 your answer, dunno why. Indeed, Kirk N.'s method although seems cool at first, it has some parts that are making a lot of confusion. He says on the file that he has some pinheads now and so the method works but at another point he says that this is the only method he is using long time now... lol
anyway thanx 4 the post, i thought i could give it a try, but since u say its not working, i will concentrate on other things. thanx!

If I was in greece, I?d go on a cow pasture, collect some dry dung from greek cows, pasteurize and inoculate it with rye-, birdseed- spawn or a PF cake.

You can shake them, yes, but don?t shake them everyday. Next time when 5% of the jar surface is colonized.
