Hawaiin , Gt?

Does any one know if what PF calls hawaiin is the same as golden teacher?

There seems to be some confusion about this one, apparently due to the fact that no one ever seems to want to keep names consistant from site to site. I haven't ever worked with either one before, so I'm not even gonna try and guess on this one. I can tell ya this much though - if you're thinking about ordering from PF I'd suggest trying the PF Stropharia. I'm growing it for the first time right now and have been pleased with the results so far. Mycelium spread like wild fire (there was no chance for contamination) pinning was abundant, and I've had very few aborts. They're low matainence too...they pretty much take care of themselves.
On the down side though - mine aren't quite ready for harvest yet, so I couldn't tell ya what sort of a trip it gives, or potency, or anything else like that. (not yet anyway) But they do look pretty damn tasty, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be finding out that info just as soon as I can. I'll keep ya updated.
