Hehehe, if you haven't tried them grilled, I highly recommend it. Olive oil and seasoning. I can tell you how NOT to cook porcini as well! Do not over spice it or add a lot of other shit. It makes it taste like any other mushroom- which it certainly is not!
I think Alan posted a recipe for his porcini lasagna.... let's see if i can find it....

Lasagna, made with Boletus edulis instead of flat pasta. It also has artichoke hearts, grape seed oil, fresh tomato sauce, fresh lime thyme, fresh cilantro, white wine and parmesan cheese.

Very rich CureCat,
Landsnorkler, here's one, simple and good,
Saute a bunch of porcini and add them to hot chicken broth and then pour the hot broth over a bowl with thick garlic toast in it, most of the broth should be soaked up by the toast.

you can dry them out and grind em up in a mortar too make porcini flour, in turn using it for deep fry batter or bread or anything else very rich in flavor

Fresh porcini - What to do with them.
I like to bake them in the oven with grape seed oil or fry them in grape seed oil, then lightly season them once they come out. If you leave them in too long they turn into porcini chips, which were a big hit.

Thanks for the recipes! I didn't find any edulis yet, but we found about 20 black morels. The edulis will probably take a few more weeks here in Montana. However, today I went to a local burn area, and we found around 15 pounds of blacks. mmmmmm. They were everywhere. Only picked for about 2 hours too. This fire is huge, so I'm gonna go back soon for the whole day! Shit is rediculous. I'll throw up some pictures tomorrow!
Peace
