 cactus graft problem

i had this cactus for a year or so and lost track of it it looks like its breaking itself apart dose anyone no whats happening?

It is called 'splitting', it happens when the rootstock feeds a lot of water to the scion, sometimes happens with over-fertilization, also happens on regular non grafted cacti after heavy rains/overfert.
It will not die.

It will look better when it grows up a bit more, don´t let it get excessive water/nutrients.

can also happen if it has water on it and goes in the sun, such as a rain and then sudden clear skies with hot temps. likely what felix mentioned though.
