what do you think they are?one of the caps is caked in rusty orange spores.found under the topwater lure tray.

Rusty brown cap makes me think of the agrocybe species. Those thin dark brown gills also spell out agrocybe to me.

Agrocybe tend to have dark to light brown spores, not rusty orange/brown spores.
Coon has some Gymnopilus.
I forget about mushrooms all the time.... and then sometimes i knock trays of random tiny dried mushrooms all over my clean laundry.... I love finding mushrooms stuck to my clothing.
