Also: if you landed on your feet would you die? Seems to me like your lower body would just get fucked up.

You would probably die from internal bleeding and I'm sure your brain would be fucked from impact as well.

My guess at the moment is that it depends on how you land. Do you think it would hurt of you landed on your chest?

No matter how you land, your head will eventually hit the gorund, split open like a melon and spil out the contents of your brain cavity.
I doubt you'd feel anything at all.
This assumes a "tall building" so I can also assume you are landing on SOLID ground. A few people have survived parachute jumps, sans parachute... however, they are VERY fucked up.

JAT stewardess Vesna Vulović survived a fall of 33,000 feet (over 10,000 meters)[1] on January 26, 1972 when she was thrown from JAT Flight 364 by a terrorist bomb. She broke several bones and was in a coma for 27 days.
In World War II there were several reports of aircrew surviving long falls; Nick Alkemade, Alan Magee, and I.M. Chisov all fell at least 6,000 meters and survived.
It was reported that two of the victims of the Lockerbie bombing survived for a brief period after hitting the ground, but died from their injuries before help arrived.[2]

Terminal velocity of a human: 200 Km/h (1)
Ok, by what do you mean a "tall" building? We'll take some random guys' determination of the average building height for buildings over 100m in New York city...which he states to be about 142m...and round up to 150m (2).
Ok, so you've got a fall of 150m...how fast do you get going in that distance? Doing some not-so-fancy work that turns out to 195.19 Km/h...not terminal v yet, but damn close!
Ok so just as you are about to hit the ground you reach a speed of 195.19 Km/h...then you hit. Assuming a tall average height (for ease of calculation) of 2m, that means you must slow down 195.19 Km/h in just under 2m. The acceleration (on your brain) would be something on the order of 150g.
Surely, that would liquefy your brain.

People bounce when they hit soft enough ground, I mean they REALLY bounce high... It's very strange to see.

I dunno man. I've seen footage of people falling out of the air in small personal airplanes and walking out of the wreckage virtually unscathed. Granted, this is rare, but still possible.
While the likely answer is yes, there is always the possibility of no.
To the original poster: define tall. To me, jumping from a two story building would be tall, but dieing at that height would be a feat of its own; sure maybe some bruises, cuts, or broken bones, but...

It's not the fall that will kill you. It's the sudden stop.

I got 75g using your numbers. For a 1.5 kg brain (high estimate) that works out to 250 lb on the brain. Is that possible?
It would be insane if humans could survive terminal velocity falls no problem...like cats. Just go and jump off of buildings for fun.

Say what? You can drop a cat from 2,000 feet and it will survive? That is exactly what you have just said, so I just wanna be sure you typed it correctly. I know I read it right.
