will the shrooms be fine if I just let them sit on my table in room temperature.. they dry this way? I was gonna just let them sit on my shelf or somewhere till I eat em

In a word: no
With this method your mushrooms will most definately rot, unless you live in an area where the rH is less than 15% or so. Why not just direct a fan on them for a few days???

learn from the failures of others.
me for example. i left shrooms in a container with a large dessicant over a weekend, and they started to rot on my return. if u use a dessicant, make sure u change the dessicants and fan them

hmm ok... now I had few small shrooms stop growth and turn abort and I just put them on piece of paper on back of my computer monitor and open window close to them for air that was few days ago and they are now cracker dry, would this method work with larger shrooms?

No....the abhorts are much smaller and therfore have much less H2O to be dried out.

I have been letting my's sit in a plastic container for 24 hours and then putting them in the dry chamber
( dry chamber = container....from bottom ... gap/birdscreen with drierite on a coffe filter on the birdscreen
about a inch more gap and then another layer of birdscreen ... on top of this one if the babys .. then air tite lid
Is there a good way to tell that the mushroom is ready for the dry chamber .. like the stem being all hard ...
or when the cap starts to skrink??
And one more question .....
Can you leave them in the dry chamber to long and something wrong happens to them ??

I've been skipping the fan process for a while now and just letting them sit for 26-48 hours before they go into the dessicant chamber. It works great with small mushrooms and they are almost cracker-dry before going into the dessicant chamber but the bigger ones take much longer....try it out and decide for yourself...if it doesnt work in the first 24hours then start faning them. You can also place a 60W lightbulb 7 (or so) inches above the mushrooms wrapped in a black sweat-shirt. There isn't enough heat to destroy any potency so you have nothing to worry about!
