Please Look (pictures) at my progress

Hey all...
First time grower over here. I birthed my cakes about a week ago, and there are a total of 8. The teranium is a rubber maid container with perlite in it. I am having a problem, however. The humidity is very high, and droplets form on the top of the container. THese droplets fall on top of the cake. I dont think this is a good thing. What can I do, SHORT OF TAKING ALL THE CAKES OUT AND RE-DOING MY PERLITE/WATER MIXTURE, to stop this from happening? A friend told me to wipe a thin coating of oil on the top of the lid.
Also, one of my cakes is showing a blueish tint to the top. I know its not green mold. Is this blue tint normal?
Please take a look at the following pics, and let me know what you think. This is my FIRST TIME pisting pics, so sorry if I screw up.

i didn't look at the pics but i can tell you this:

wipe vaseline on top of the container, it stops water formation.

the blueing is probably just the cake bruising.

they look fine, i would still fane out ur fruuiting chamber like 3-5 times a day to make sure that they arent getting too much moisture, the bluish on the cake looks fine,

you dont want em. make a drip shield; diagonal piece of plastic or such so that droplets condense and run down to perlite.

Ok, my cakes are now +5 days from those pics...and still no change in anything. Can they be stunted? Its not very WARM in the teranium..about 77 i'd guess...should I raise the heat on this sucker?

Are you sure they are getting proper lighting? I recomend putting one of those glow sticks on the top of your container. But that may prove to be difficult thanks to that vascalene (sp?)

Be very patient. I birthed cakes 14 days ago and nothing during that time...and to my utter surprise 4 pins appearred out of nowhere last night. I don't have a fancy set up, however that will need to change today. My temps are 74-78 degrees and humidity high. I even lightly mist once a day too.

Good things come to those who wait...patience grasshopper...you'll see.

Good luck.

im sure they are bluing because you have water dropping on them, just tape the top of ur chamber tighter so they cant drip onto the cakes, also KEEP WAITING. sometimes shit just doesnt happen right away.
