I heard somewhere that shrooms grown in warmer temps. are less potent than those grown in lower temps. is this true?

The only thing I've read that could back that up even the slightest is that on some vendor's site they had a strain than grew in fairly cool conditions and had HIGH POTENCY in it's description.. who knows though?

well what is warm?? TMC shows a graph of mycelium growth versus temp for your blue guys. If you get above or below 86 degrees F (PCs) then growth slows down but i dont think it will affect potentcy. interesting question...anyone else?

well,

depends on if you are talking about cubensis or other active shrooms.

other active shrooms that are more potent than cubensis grow in colder climates.
Example.....Liberty Caps, Azures, Cyanescens all grow in colder climates than cubensis

if you are refering to cubensis being more potent cause they are grown in colder temps than the normal fruiting temps.....I have heard of this.....I'm not sure if this is true....GanjaShroom was saying this a few months ago.
I guess the real test would be to try this.....I can try this during the Winter here in Seattle and get back to you next Spring.....lolzz
