Is it just me, or do I get cringe moments constantly while tripping. What I mean by cringe moments is when someone like does something that makes you physically unconfertable. A good example is scratching a chalkboard with your fingers.

you are more resonant when tripping an ordinary cringe becomes a series of cringe moments an ordinary rain drop becomes a cascade of beauty a light touch is offered to what happens.

Now that I think about it, I really think it was just the body load from 2C-B. Most of these experience came from that. It's just being tweaked out I suppose. But I like the way you replyed. Very deep.

I have found that those uncomfortable body sensations have to do with body energy stuff.
When I say body energy you may think "hippie weird shit" , but it's not that weird.
A massage is a good example. A massage releases tension in the muscles which then in turn makes one feel much better, but it works both ways- if one is stressed they will tense their muscles.
I am not sure how it all works, but there are different levels of this kind of thing. There is muscle tension, posture, breathing, attention, and perhaps others that our culture has not yet made words for.
I call these things energies because they do not seem to be discrete sensations which can be easily defined, but are more like a spectrum (like the spectrum of colors in light energy).
When I trip I become much more aware of these things and how they interact with my emotional/logical self.
Again, remember after a massage people feel better.
I trip maybe twice a year and a similar thing often occurs:
1. Eat the psychedelic 2. Feel a tingle-somethings happening 3. As I become more aware of my body state, I sense body discomfort
at this point I focus on my body- breathing, muscle tension, posture, etc, and one by one I release the tension in that system. Once I have really focused on my breathing, posture etc, the discomfort fades, and I feel something else... A lightness of being
4. stuff happens 5. Lightness of being persists for a couple of weeks to a couple of months, resulting in closer, more open relationships with those I love.
I was about to say that sometimes a drug can just make someone feel sick as well, but then I remembered my ayahuasca experiences. I believe ayahuasca pharmacologically induces vomiting. So one could say the body sensation there is just from the drug and just pharmacological. But my experiences seem to show that it's psychological as well, because I remember the pain of the nausea, the relief and release as I purged, and then a near instant lightness of being which persisted for weeks after.
One of the major big super life changing lessons psychedelics gave me is that emotions and the body are extremely integrated, and you can learn so much about your emotions from your body.
If you're interested in neuroscience at all, António Damásio has done some really cool experiments that show that what he calls a somatic state (which is a body/emotion state) is actually really important in making real life decisions which we usually think of as being completely logical. He has found that people with brain damage in an area associated with the somatic state make poorer decisions when gambling.

That was a very helpful post. I am going to work on that stuff in my next upcoming trip. Thank you.
