hey im new to shrooming im in tampa bay area can ne 1 tell me what to look for or ne thing 2 help me out please

First, you need to do some research for yourself to find what to look for. Get a book or look on The Shroomery to find descriptions and pictures of different species of psychoactive mushrooms.
Once you've found out what you need to look for, then you need to figure out where to look for them. Wherever you found the descriptions and pictures of the mushrooms, you should also find information on what type of habitat they grow in and their ranges. Cow pastures are a very common location I believe. But it's important to get permission from the farmers to be on their land before you go looking. Otherwise you are trespassing and could get in a lot of trouble. Just explain to the farmer that you are a student doing research on something, or you want to take pictures of something. Usually they will not mind and be more than willing to allow you on their land. The story could be very different, and dangerous, if you go on their land without permission.

i recoment getting The National Audubon Society Field Guide to North Amarican Mushrooms . it's cheap most places and is an exelent guide. you will have to learn how to use identification keys if you don't know already. i might also recomend reading all the faqs on this site as they will prove invaluable for a number of reasons. good luck
