Flavored Water?

I had a thought today as i was at the store. You know how they have the flavored water, like cherry and grape and shit. Well i was wonedring if you use that type of water throughout the cultivation process would the mushrooms be able to absorb the flavor of that water?

its just a thought but could it work?????

There is a major difference between digesting food and acctually being 80% water. has anybody ever tried this or acctually knows what they are talking about?

That sounds like a cool idea. Try experimenting with it, and do post your results if you do. Maybe I can talk my friend into trying it with a cake or two. I think the mushroom flavor would overpower the grape or whatever flavor and it would kinda taste sicker then normal. But thats just my opinion.

If theirs sugar in the water thats good cause I think that some people add honey to the water to boost growth.

Never was brave enough to taste shit... Many people claim they taste like shit w/o growing on shit also.

Duh, growing mj using berry juice wouldnt have an effect on the taste or potency, but mj is a plant while mushrooms are a fungus. Mushrooms are, like someone else said, almost 90% water. I'm not saying it WOULD work, but it'd be fun to try wouldnt it?

That picture was for a guy who was trying to put mircal grow on his mushroom casings - I think it would work the same way - just replace chemicals with flavored juice and disreguard step number 4.

Oh yeah, and if you put food dye in plant water, it colors the plant whatever color... right? It _could_ work. Probably wouldnt, but it would be fun to try.

I'd say give it a shot. I think it's cool that you thought of that, I love hearing peoples ideas. You might even want to try it with some kool-aid =) It never hurts to be adventerous and to try out new ideas regardless of what other people think.
