What makes a shroom field? (Outdoor grow)

Over here we only have semilanceata (liberty caps).
Only certain fields will produce them and the gov sprays the ones they know about with stuff to kill them
Is it possible to start them to grow in a field?
I know they propagate by spores (correct?) but this is inefficient???

Hum...mushrooms have been around for quite some time...i dont see how spores are inefficient, as they have worked for this long already

it is quite common to grow them outdoors.
People who do mostly dig a trench and fill it with straw and poo and mix it with spawn of the species they want to grow.
Search for OUTDOOR using the search function of the forum for specific techs.
Once you've got a patch going, I imagine that the mushies would self propagate as long as there was adequate substrate present for them in the field

If you don't mind me asking, what country are you in where the governor is so worried about mushrooms that he sprays for them? Where I am, we spray for mosquitos.
