I just built a 2x4x2 terrarium and, as an after thought, was wondering if ther were any negative aspects to a large terrarium? Are they more open to contams? Thanks.

The bigger the terrarium, the more cakes you can fit in it So, why not?

It is more difficult to keep a constant level of high humidity.

Instead of cakes I am doing straw substrates in 4"x9" diameter paint pails that hang from the top, one hangs from the one above it. It looks real cool, I am tenativly naming it "hanging gardens of powderfinger". I also have a cool mist that goes in the bottom so I don't think keeping humidity high will be a problem. Thanks.

that sounds fukkin cool, any chance we can see some pics of that terrarium..be interesting to see how those paint pails fit in2 dem!!
