mycro grow bags- question for after 100% colinized
    #698621 - 06/24/02 03:37 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

I ordered 5 of those mycro bags, injected with some B+ and Mazatech- Here is my question:

I feel I would get a lot more yeild if I were to break up the colinized substrate and use a casing tek with 50/50? Would it work better than letting the shrooms grow in the bag like it says to>? Although I am sorda new at all of this, my first casing try with manure compost worked good. Will it work fine?

Casings usually provide moisture which may or may not get you a bigger yeild. If you were to case with dung or some kind of bulk substrate then i'm sure you would increase your yeild.

Weird. Out of the 5 bags, only one colinized. All others don't have any white in them. It's been about three weeks, what could be wrong. The one that did colinize had an obvious amount more water in it. It colinized 100% so I cased it. The other 4 aren't looking good. no contams or anything, but still no growth. I noticed about a dime sized growth in own bag. think they will still colinize?
