could someone post a picture of visuals

firstly it would be nice to have a little list of the different kinds of visuals you can have, but im really tired right now so i have no energy for that.

with this list of visuals it would be nice to have some pictures to go along with them to better describe what they actually look like

most specific it would be great to have a photoshop deminstrating the most common visuals people have

if there is color please show that also


I reallly think this could be a great post for people to help us "see" what your seeing.

Fill the tub with water, drop something the size of a marble in. Notice the ripples, the delineation of borders as they rift to and fro as the ripple extends outward? Take that visual and apply it to something with even less profound and varying borders then the ripple and the wave thus made and you get a good general idea. Add a touch of color blending and you start to get the whole picture.

I've seen some of his work, I'm not impressed.

Anyhow, I find that the more i tend to concentrate the better the visuals seem to be. If your out on a strike walking around at a park or whatever you tend to only give fleeting glances at everything, but when you start to read a book with pictures it tends to hit me to the extent that i feel mildly retarded from losing the ability to read.

this gives a kinda vague idea, but its more like the patterns are a part of his face, also layed over, and distorting everything all at once.

Find the hand trick on google. It's an image that you stare for 30 seconds and then you look at your hand. It mimics a trip the closest out of anything in this world.

Open eye visuals are hard to define. It's like your subconscious grabs onto ideas of what reality *COULD* look like and your conscious mind listens way more than when you're sober. You know it's not real but at the same time you can still "see" it.

As for closed-eye visuals, Shirley has nailed it as far as I'm concerned. :laugh:

Yeah the Hand trick is pretty cool...they have one like that on a site I saw not to long ago...basically the same concept it makes everything look like its bending and wavy kinda like underwater effect....

ok im pretty familiar with the wavey walls, but im curious if theres more to it than that.

I hear alot of people talking about getting different colors.....are these colors in your suroundings and get warped into things....or do these colors come out of nowhere like a halcination?

also when i go to bed and i close my eyes i get visuals all the time...somewhat similar to that red box thing shirly posted.....anyone else get that "without shroomys" ? and how would you say that changes with them?

The visuals i have experienced are:

Kaleidoscope (basically the eye seeing all it can see, every shape and colour.)

Ive also had flashbacks where you close your eyes and get taken to another place/lifetime.

And the best of all seeing vibrational magnetism, where everything you look at you can see the life inside of it vibrating, your vision becomes a huge blur of everything vibrating in harmony.

Also ive had delayed visuals (trails) which i dont like as it makes me think my brian is becoming a bit retarded.I get these from weed aswell as shroomz.

A counter arguement for the retardedness is when i watch cartoons its like you can see where the characters moving,so my brians actually slowing it down so i can see where the artists have cut, moved the charachter, then shot again...on the simpsons anyway!

Ive had weird closed eye visuals where i see horrible laughing clowns, knomes, trolls etc....fkin weird. Like the cartoony stuff tho.

I often get this "illuminati" thing, the eye in the pyramid, surroudned by writing and code, numbers and sign i can´t decipher.
They all change so fast that i can´t figure out what they are saying.
Also a lot of stuff that looks like circuitry.
Mostly in greenish and reddish colors, rarely any blues with mushrooms.
Often glowing like holograms (this weird shimmery effect)

It's playing both forwards and backwards simultaneously. Don't believe me? Listen to it backwards (reverse it with an audio editing application); it sounds completely identical forwards and backwards.

My best visuals from mushies came from my first trip, when my entire living room began to melt. My TV was melting and dripping down the sides of the TV stand. Of course, those visuals then progressed into my friend (the only other one tripping) turning into a living corpse, surrounded by blood on the floor. However, it wasn't that frightening...

Usually my trips start out with trails and particular patterns sort of "popping out" in front of my vision. Eventually everything begins to move and seems alive.

THen there's the more common breathing and flexing and swaying in everything that I look at. Stuff looks like it's turning into water, moving just like it.

Wow. That effect as well as the hand trick are both new to me.
Maybe people contemplating a new hallucinogen experience should make themselves experience these effects like daily for a week or so before they hit it. Kind of a way of educating the everyday mind as to how easy it is to non-invasively "bend" reality in pretty dramatic ways, so that there is no reason to freak out or question "what have I done?" quite so much simply based on visuals.

This has happened to me. Once I had my little cousin sitting on my lap and when I looked at his head, I could hear voice which was like a bubble breaking.. his head was like in Simpsons, I mean it was like a cartoon and his head was round and yellow, much like Homer's.
