I suppose I'm either not looking hard enough or I don't know how to recognize the events in my life as signs.

I didn't really start seeing these "signs" until about a year ago, after I had already had several mystical experiences. The signs seem to increase as my dedication to my own spiritual development grows.

It seems as though there has been a steady undercurrent from the beginning. The world is built based on 'certain' principles rooted in 'hidden' knowledge. Waking up to this fact creates one sychronistic event after the other until you are surrounded by a world that you didn't even know existed.

I'd say the god is more of a crutch.

I just hope people don't get too wrapped up in the negative, its too powerful. And you have to really fight to shake it once it takes hold. People are really scared by it when they don't understand its because you care so much. They think you are demon possessed. Plus, when they don't see for themselves what is really going on there is no justifying your behavior, especially when claiming to be on a spiritual path. Frustrating.

Wow, wow, wow. That gave me goosebumps reading that. I'm not sure if I can put into words why that did but I'm so glad you said that. Thank you so much for saying what I couldn't put into words for myself.

based on what I've read at least. Overwhelming warmth, compassion, love. People FEEL good when they find God. People receive -pleasure- when they become fully immersed in the Jesus prayer. If meditating on God wasn't so pleasurable people wouldn't do it for insanely long periods of time (Ramakrishna anyone?).

God is free smack and I wish I could figure it out. Please feel free to criticize me completely if you feel I'm way off base.

Any pleasure you find in profound awareness increase is meant as a distractor/test imo, and also a reminder to remember if the effect wears off.

at this point i think we can be relatively certain seperation exists as a fallacy of finite perception, and the only barrier to infinite creativity is a preimposed notion of certainty and artificial conditioning. nothing is without origin

That's a good call. Sort of like.."proof", per se.

You are God. Your mind has the power to produce any feeling you so desire - you just need to learn to control it!

Most of us know this at heart - but we have been misguided by our consumer lifestyles - we seek to pop a pill as an answer to any problem.

Check out some Eastern philosophy - they've been teaching about the power within ever since they existed.

I've been checking out eastern philosophy for years now. And I know that my mind controls my existence, but I don't "know" that. I'm not going to "know" that until I can actually pull it off. Until I actually feel like I have control over how my days goes internally. I know in theory that if I want to be happy I just have to be happy but it's not easy!
