I live in the suburbs of Atlanta and im new to hunting shrooms... and Ive only shroomed acouple times... but buyin here is kinda expensive so i wanted to see if someone could give me some pointers ... ive gone hunting three times at 3 different horse farms in the same basic area and found nothin ... if u could be of any help id appreciate it... thanks

The reason you've found nothing lately is becuase its been so damn dry. I don't know about you, but I've gotten some rain over the past few days... Stuff is starting to fruit again, you should go check those fields again.

i live in middle georgia too, its rained here the last two days also. So I guess tuesday morning would be the best time to go for me.

i went today... and found 7 caps... 1 was red... thats poisionoius right... and 2 were pure white tall... what are those..?

I was wondering what the tall white one were... they were growing off of mulch woodchips... and there like 4 inches tall and 3 inch cap ... there pure white and the spore are white... are these active or they nothing? any help would be great

oh so there poisionoius... well i looked at some pictures and i was thinkin they were Copelandia cyanescens but i dont know about them enough... i think its supposed to rain tonight... would it be better if i went pickin tommorrow or wensday?

Yeah... doesn't sound like you know anything about mushrooms... Do some research before you even consider eating anything you find. You may be better off just growing.
