Hey John123:

You definitely don't want water dripping from the lid. Here is a simple solution...coat the surface of the underside of the lid with petrollium jelly, this will stop the condensation there. Good Luck.

My terrarium is just an aquarium with saran wrap over the top... I use perlite and always have a tiny bit of condensation on the sides but never on the saran wrap top. Dunno why, but it works.
