how about all the protests that israili emigrants staged interntationally in protest of sharon, and his war, specifically in interviews done from ex-soldiers, who left by choice, the problem is that the army would specifically target women and children.

No nugs, I wouldn't completely agree with Sharon either. My source was the same as the source mentioned by another. My link to a list was for non-combatants and disproved the totally bogus 15 to 1 claim. I have no trouble believing that both figures are correct. It's just that when someones claims that for every innocent Israeli 15 innocent Palestinians dies, it needs to be pointed out just how full of shit that someone is.

Scumbags kill innocents with bombs. Still no one has shown proof that Israelis deliberately target innocents.

I have no love for either side, I do have a love for facts.

I do have a love for the defense of women and children and I repeat, the Israelis must make the cost of homicide bombings too painful for those cowardly Palestinian bombers to bear.

Anyone who denies that there are innocent people dying on BOTH sides of that conflict is a fool. There is just no way one can stick oneself on a particular side of something like that and say "Side X is not targetting civilians" and not look like a complete buffoon. It's urban warfare, for Christ's sake!

And if common sense isn't allowed--Jesus, how the hell can one go through all the news coming out of there and still say this is as black and white as a Disney movie! Now, I like Disney movies, but maybe they do us a disservice by instilling a good-bad dichotomy that rarely, RARELY applies to the real world.

Of course, when a person says, "Side Y is evil for targetting civillians--let's bomb every last one of them into the next life!", can we really take him or her seriously?

Are you saying the PRC figures are full of shit because the PRC is linked to the Palestinians? Is that the sole basis of your claim? In fairness to the Guardian, you might offer something more substantial. And I suppose that B'tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, is probably biased too, seeing as they're often critical of Israel in all of this.

I never said innocents on both sides aren't being killed.
I do not believe, and the numbers do not support, the claim that both sides are targeting innocents. Are you suggesting that a country with the military might of Israel couldn't kill many more if they were targeting innocents?

Sole basis? No. I've seen many reports from that "fine" orginization that have had grossly inflated casualty numbers. I think numbers compiled by a third party source, such as a newspaper, are far more realistic than numbers supplied by either party mentioned in the chart. These numbers were researched by a reporter. Now, I don't know anything about this particular reporter, but my read of his writing in this case is that he has no ax to grind for either side.

well, basically I'm trying to point out that in u.s. court, witness can testity to create "evidence". In turn jurors, can decide if the evidence is good, bad, wrong right, ignit, etc.

I know about some U.s. military murdering killing innnocent women and children, hongomon knows, felix knows, this military man just the other day shot his wife and kids. I can't find a link, go figure!

actually this is a big story in Hawaii, was in the newspaper, and my brother and his friends, (military) all know about the murder. The guy was a naval officer.
