I see your logic... I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just be sure to sterilize.

I have done with freat success. I used baby food jars as jars, ala MMGG way. It worked very good. The only thing I dont like about it is the multiple jars. Makes my incubator look messy. If your using shotglasses, be sure to have aluminum foil, wraped and cloed tight on top of the glass, or contams will come through.
