casing technical question

my casings are a 50/50 + mix

they have been colonizing the surface layer for about 12 days now... but growth appears to be slow... do you know what i mean... it feels like it should be spreading faster. temperature and climate where the casings are stored is roughly 78-80 degrees Farenheit..... with about 25-40 % humidity.

does anybody have any input?

Are they covered with foil/saran wrap, with holes punched in??

Um humidity should be higher and yes you need to cover them, to keep that humidity in with some holes poked for a small amount of gas exchange.
