Hey there,

Yeah, I hope so...there is just a tiny touch on a couple but at least I know they are not just water. The one Florida I got for free had visible material in the syringe and started colonizing faster and earlier than the Thai ones I got which were just really very clear. Did you see the F+ syringe Joshua has up for trade...now that is "The Dark One"..heheh. I respect the vendors here but like in all things "Let the buyer beware" . I think I might need some kind of microscope pretty soon. I have a friend that sells them...maybe I can get a deal on one. Anybody ever use one of those PC connected scopes from a chip maker or are they not high enough power. I wonder what are the requirements for viewing spores...probably needed for good research.

Ya, 3 or 4 days is about average. The first time I did it was with B+ from the sporelab, it was pretty exciting to see it happen.

By the way, you'll need at least 400X just to see spores as little dots.
