I have my cakes in a ruubermaid container and they are sitting on perlite . .there have been in the chamber . .some of the cakes for atlest 3 weeks and no signs of pinning . . . the only thing happing is te mycelia is growing kinda . .its getting fluffier and fluffier but no pins . . . . what am i doing wrong?

Nothing.
The mycelium will fluff as it goes into fruit mode.
The cakes have probably just been colonising the center or something.
You should see pins soon.

Well you said it yourself " mycelia is growing kinda" you may have berthed the cakes too soon and thats what is taking so long. I have read that you should start to see pinning in the jars prior to birthing your cakes.

ohh . . .well i did wait somehwat . . .but all the happened was the mycelia gettin fluffier . . . but w/e . . . .ill jus wait . .thx alot for the responses!
