Try putting "Acacia DMT Australia" into a search engine and see what comes up. And apparently, the roots of the common reed, Phragmites australis, also contain this substance (but just try digging them up...)
yeah i know but in victoria i think Acacia maidenii is pretty rare. i'm not sure which one grows here and the question has been asked on here before with no answers. i've pretty much given up.

Zippo fluid is naphtha. Just to be safe you can put some zippo fluid in a glass dish and let some evaporate to see if it evaporates clean.
