colinization time of CCC spawn

so im using a coco coir/ coffee spawn from rye grain...

mixed very well together... 50% colonized rye 50% CCC mix...

In a medium sized gladware....

Should only take a few days right? to colonize?

Im not being impatient just curious about what everyone thinks

what was your coir:coffee ratio?
With a 1:1 spawn:substrate ratio you should expect colonization on the quicker end of those 5-11 days

when i spawned rye to coir with a 1-1 ratio mine was done in 3.. but you want it to sit a lil extra anyways. just check it out after 7 and no peeking or you can start pinning by exposing it to light. (happened to me) and that was only peeking at day 2 and 3

it was about 12.5% coffee or so.... 4 cups per 2 gallons of coco coir

It wasn't the light. Light is a secondary pinning trigger. Peeking exposes the substrate to fresh air, and a reduction of CO2, which is a primary pinning trigger.

Whenever I spawn, I always wait 3 days before checking. If I see plenty of mycelium growth by third day (spawning at 1:4-1:5 ratio), then it is doing it's job
