went shrooming for first time and need help

hi, i went hunting for the first time last night in a massive pasture with my boyfriend. neither of us had done it before, but one of my roommates has a bunch, and he told us to wait a couple days after it rained with one day of bright sun the next day and look for the mushrooms growing out of cow dung. so we went, and low and behold, 15 ft into the field we come across a big brown dried cow pattie with 5 mushrooms growing out of it.
we picked a whole bunch and when we got home, got online to try and find out what these could possibly be, we looked everywhere, looked at every picture we could possibly fi nd, and stilla rn't sure.
we picked them in the houston area. they have tall, skinny white stems, and rounded, dome like caps that are white, the underneath is dark, almost black. and they look pretty much identical to these here in the picture below. but these are one's from hawaii, is it possible that these are of the same species, and do you think they are any good to use? or, does anyone from this area found any that are like the ones we've found, i'd reall appreaciate the help, thanks.

Wait for a positive ID.
I think that they are an inactive Copelandia. I'm probably wrong though..

Did, they stain blue? What was the spore print color? This will help some people id them for you

what exactly do you mean by spore print color? some of the spores are green and some are brown but those are dried out. no obvious blueing that we can see.

You probrobly have some kind of copes. They most likely arent poisonous...if they are what i think they are, you will trip off them. But I could be wrong...
