Newbie begging for an answer

I understand the entire procsses of shroom cultivation, except for what type of vermeculite to use. Im WAY confused on whether I should use a fine grade soil/vermeculite mix, or just vermeculite. I just got my spores today and am stoked to get started. But I wanna do things right and this is the one thing that haunts my confidence.

"just vermiculite" is what you want to use....50/50 (soil and vermiculite) is for casing
