Damn Coons *pics*
    #6917473 - 05/14/07 10:00 PM (16 years, 10 months ago)

Stepped outside for a breath of fresh air and this varmint leaps outa my trash can. It hasn't been the feds rummaging through my garbage after all, only this sly bastard.

All the stale bread and week-old pizza has turned him into quite the fat ass.

Some frat guys at UGA got drunk and killed and ate a raccoon. They got rabies and one of them died.

It is amazing how they're able to open my garbage bin.

I think they're ugly buggers though, not very cute at all.

I guess it's time to tape the lids of the garbage cans shut; or, you could get a restraining order. There's always animal control as well.

Around here they leave our trash alone. They just eat the cat food that the neighbors leave out.

The coons I don't worry about as much as the skunks. They live under my neighbors house. One day I know I'll walk around a corner, startle one, and get sprayed (you smell them around the neighborhood at least once a week).

I led a bunch of raccoons into my house with cat food and took some photos of them, really cute. There was a family of 7 or 8 of them living in, or near, our backyard several years ago. I took some photos of all of them together in our cherry tree. Sometimes you'd walk past the side-hedge and the bushes would just start shaking and you'd hear hissing, coz they were hiding out in them.

"To do right is to know what you want. Now when you are dissatisfied with yourself it's because you are after something you don't really want. What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana
