When i said species I meant species, not strain. By your responce I assume that your growing the cubensis species. I've never tried to grow outside.. but have thought about it numerous times.
Around here, the mushroom season starts in late fall, early winter, once there is a significant tempature drop. I guess you would want to set up over the spring-summer months to allow the mycelium to colonize the bed. Anyone else?
