again, tested positive for MJ. Way to go buddy
the dolphins actually have a chance of being better next year, not good because they have one of the hardest divisions in football, but they should be much improved.

What did you think of them taking Ginn Jr instead of Quinn?

damn.. i was afraid someone would ask me this.. honestly, i dont know.. IMO they will be fine, they obviously didnt feel like quinn was the right guy for their system.
they did draft a QB in John Beck out of BYU, he's 6-2. 212 lbs. (so a hair shorter and lighter than Quinn).. perhaps they think Beck is the QB of the future for their program, BYU was pretty damn good the past couple of years.
Ginn could provide that spark that they are looking for, who knows.

The NFL should stop penalizing its players for smoking marijuana. Marijuana provides no competitive advantage to athletes. I applaud Rickey Williams for putting privacy above fame and fortune and telling the NFL to shove it straight up its ass..

yeah but the only problem is, if the NFL doesnt punish NFL players for testing positive for weed, its like saying that its OK to smoke weed, In the eyes of the public.
now of course I agree with you, but its just not practical, not yet.

If I was a GM or something I wouldn't let my players smoke. It provides a competitive DISadvantage.

What a jag'on.
Ginn was a shitty pick at 9th overall, if they were going to take a receiver they should have gotten Jarrett.

ginn might not be the WR that Jerrett is.. but he is a hell of a special teams weapon.. perhaps the next devon hester? daunte hall?.. hell he might ONLY be a special teams player... but they can also use him in the slot and he will probably be the fastest player on the field.
thats why they picked him. its not really that hard to see

Are you guys crazy? Ginn is a better WR. There's a reason everyone had him rated higher than Jarret. Shit, I don't even know if Jarret was top 5 in some boards. There's also a reason Jarret fell so far and Ginn didn't.

He is faster, it's not even close. He's also developed into more than just a straight-route receiver. I don't really remember him dropping many easy catches this year, but I won't deny that Jarret has good hands. Either way, Ginn is the better NFL prospect, like I said, there's a reason he was always ranked ahead of Jarret.

Jarrett is more than just hands, he has good leaping ability, combined with body control to make ridiculous adjustments. He's also a good route runner, while Ginn was taught three routes at OSU: flag, streak and post. I don't think he's got the knowhow to find the seam on special teams like Hester, it takes more than just speed and agility. Hester picks the hole and follows his blocks superbly. You don't pick a punt returner in the top ten.
