Did you find them all growing out of a log, in a clusterlike that? If so you most likely have some type of oyster mushroom, they should smell kind of sweet and tasty...I have newver seen those exact mushrooms where I live, but I have picked plenty of oysters..and they are choice edibles...not magic, but real tasty. The spore print should be whitish, do some more research to be sure, but I think you got yourself a nice feast...once again make sure to confirm exactly what they are before you eatem....cheers, nice find.
-------------------- "...I found dozens of single specimens. That's what I call hunting. There are only a few "good" hunters here, even now. You're certainly in that group. I would imagine if we hunted together we'd find our styles are similar."

RIP Matt, your friendship and your contributions to the world of fungi will be missed. Unfortunately we never got to hunt together.
