Trichocereus cactus ID request

I just got this little guy, and here's a picture of him repotted (their soil was nasty moldy looking with bugs in it) in like 50/50 potting soil and sand, then some super bloom powder and these pellets mixed in. Anyway, here's some pictures, the label only said it was of the Trichocereus genus (right?) and i was wondering what species it was. Thanks ahead of time, you guys always seem to come through! Put some sand ontop of the soil mixture to make it look nice, and put sand at bottom too, same reason. Anyway, i also cleaned my night stand

Thanks again! I haven't named him yet, but I can't name him Jose, because that's my habanero's name!
*I used to have a pretty nice cactus collection back in the day, till i got a new window put in and there wasnt room for them anymore on the window sill, so im giving the spiky plants another go. How long should I expect till it flowers, and how long do the flowers last?

since there was bugs in the old soil, is it possible that the whole cactus has bugs in it? thinking about that makes me queezy, I once lost a big cactus to bugs
*looks like a Trichocereus spachianus to me, anyone else have suggestions?
here's the pictures of the Trichocereus spachianus that i found on google:

It's a hybrid. Probably not just trichocereus, either. They make these trichocereus/echinopsis crosses and call them a grandiflorous hybrid. There's a lot of variability in them, so they could be hybrids of anything. There's probably some T. Candicans in it, though.
It looks like a spachianus, but that will probably change. The spachianus gets pretty tall, and I doubt yours will.

i got some grandiflorus today, is it active by any chance you think? i have two of them that i know of and also a macrogonus hybrid as well, which i dont think is active becuase it doesnt taste bitter in any way, which all other mescaline containing cacti i have eaten do.

Hardware stores have been selling T. Spachianus labelled as T. Macrogonus. How many ribs does it have? T. Spachianus contains mostly hordenine. In any case, bitter doesn't mean active, but not bitter does mean not active.
As for the hybrid, who knows? Some people say yes, others say no. It isn't hard to figure out what's happening there... there's just a lot of variability in the hybrids. Those hybrids almost always have some T. huascha in them, and the T. huascha contains only hordenine. If there's mescaline in it, it came from one of the parents during hybridization, so there probably isn't much there.
