Pulled over again, damnnit.

Last night I was coming off an off ramp and hitting the biggest state trooper road during shift change last night. I didn't use a blinker in front of four cop cars.....OOPS. Anyways I noticed that if they want to search you and you say no. They all instantly said they smelled cannabis after I said no and they wanted the dog to come in. So if you do not allow them to come in and search how does it make sense for a dog to come right in which is probably trained by a hand signal to bark so they can go in there. Searching makes no sense. All in all i didn't get arrested for the quarter of green and a long lecture later I was on my way back accross town because I just had a bill taken away from.

Why would you want dogs to come in if you have weed and you know they're going to get the dogs to go off, anyway? But yeah, searches suck, cops can really have their way and it's not very difficult for them to search a car during a traffic stop, although there are ways around it.

I think he meant the COPS wanted to bring the dog in. I doubt he wanted the dog to come in since he had pot on him. It sucks that cops tend to play the "I smell pot" card to gain a right to search. Highly suspect.

If you get arrested during an illegal search, then you can always try to contest that in court. If your lawyer is any good, he should be able to get you off easy.

Oh, okay. Some people think that demanding the dogs to come in is a good idea because the cops just use it as an empty threat, but it just pisses them off more usually because they have to wait for the dogs and all that bullshit.

its no bluff, i refused a search several months ago when i had about 1/2oz on me... they threatened to call the dogs out, and they did.. well dog in the singular.. but it was 3am and the dog was more interested in pissing on the grass than walking around my car.

dog didnt even pick up a scent.

This is a good video. Sure, it won't get you outa every situation but it at least tells you the best way to handle police encounters:
