FAE with a closet setup

I have been growing recently with a terrerium set up in my closet. I use a couple inches of perlite and a CM coming from the outside of the terrerium.
My question is, is there still enough fresh air exchange even though the door to the cloet is closed?

I have been getting alot of contamination and I'm thinking this could be one of the factors.

I have been told the same thing. The closet hold prety much the same air so not so good. You may be able to keep your FC in the closet and do something like place the device supplying you FAE outside the closet and run the feed line under the door.

Dear Snypa187,

I have been cultivating in a closed door closet .... at first with a hydroton humidified FC with a cool mist for FAE and polyfil monotubs ...... now I have gone to an RR style FC (drained perlite humidification and many 1/4" hole for FAE) and still doing some monotubs ....

I raised my tubs off the floor (on plastic milk crates) and have others higher on the shelves. Air within the closet is moved by a small fan on a timer .... fan is aimed toward a closet wall ... air is moving and is mellow.

I think getting the tubs / chambers up off the floor and providing some air movement may work well for you. It is working for me.

Too bad we are "in the closet" .... and not out in the open !

I'm pretty sure I remember reading that RR said not to fruit in a closet because the air is stale. Don't quote me on that, but perhaps you need to bring your FC into a more open room? By the time you get to the fruiting stage, you are much less likely to get your stuff contaminated.
