why are my outdoor cubes short?

i have little patches of cubensis growing outdoors and there fruiting and everything but they dont get tall at all. i picked one today that was about a inch tall and sporalating. they get plenty of moisture but i dont know. it could be a lack of nutrients in that certain patch i got a few mushies growing up in my other patch that look a little bigger so i will post the results of those. When i picked my little mushroom today i flicked the cap to release some spore just in high hopes

Some grow big and some grow small. Nothing you can do really. Try a different strain until you find one that gets tall.

well indoors my strains get tall and outdoors there not. but anyways i harvested off my other little patch today (last night we had a nice storm) and one of the caps was pretty big about size of 50 piece and the other about size of a quarter. but stems were still short around a inch and a half( put they do look cool with small stems they kinda look like some sort of an agarius but with a reddish cap and yellowish stem ) well thats my update. i dont know how much i have and i think i could at least get a level one maybe a level two off them. anyone know if they get a different potency outdoors?

i had that problem with my puerto ricans (in the pic forum) 2 days ago. but i dried them last night and they way 6 grams. i only have like 3 shrooms and 9 pinners it appears that whin they grow small there actually dence>>
