What is this and what is wrong?

These have been in my fruiting chamber, a big bucket with 2in of perlite and a 1in of water. Thet get 4hrs of light a day and been in a week and no pins. Here are newest pics.

It's mycelium and nothing is wrong.

Pins will form soon...takes 10-14 days most of the time.

despite what many people have said and despite what I`ve seen regarding amount of light to give your babies.
I have now started as an experiment to give my kids 9 hours of light a day.
I can say I have notced a recogniseable difference in growing speed.
Might be something else but I seemed to get faster growth with more sunlight.
I birthed a cake 4 days ago and it`s freaking out on me.
Heads forming all over the cake.

Turn those lids over.
If you get water collecting in the bottom of them, you may end up with a contamination problem.
