I remember the first time I ingested mushrooms, the taste was horrible, but I kept it down. I had a cake juice, a few minutes ago, and I tried not to think about how fucking rank it smelled while I focused. "Now or never", bombs away. Oh my god, that rubbery, fungusy, nasty, horrible taste hit me head on. I tried as hard as I could for 20 seconds, but I gagged, spewed it everywhere, and then began to vomit. I vow now, to never, ever in my life ingest mushrooms unless they are encapsulated. I don't know how in the hell I did it back then, but I know that I can't now. Just thought I would share this, as it was the nastiest taste I have ever known, despite knowing how putrid they are. Ugh.

The fuck I do! I've tried almost every "trick" there is, and I found the easiest way was to blend up some orange juice and down them. But that was too much, god that hurt it was so nasty. NOTHING hides that taste, nothing.

orange juice is the worst option, because of the water, acidity, that will intensify the taste, mushrooms are more similar to acidity, then to a base, so you got to neautralize the acidity with a base, starches, and peanut butter is a good tasting starch, so there's my theory for you. An empty stomach, with no liquids inside, will not make a person throw up, however with a full stomach of orange juice, (liquids) etc. you may throw up.

Cranberry-Grape juice hides it really well, just grind em up in a coffee grinder and mix it in with CG juice.

Eat 'em fresh with a bite of chocolate. Mushrooms have very little aftertaste.
I have said this many times. Try some ayahuasca or peyote, then come back and whine about the taste. Nastiness will have a new meaning for you. After that you will WELCOME the delightful pungency of a nice plump cube.

Take some juice . .nekind will do and take all kinds of fruit . .strawberries kiwi mango grapes apple and so on and mix them all in the blender with a little ice . .and dont forget to toss in ur little friends . . .the mushies!!!! Its tastes great . .thats how i always do it!!

I dont find died mushrooms to be all that apealing but it is easiest for me to grind the mushies up in a pile and just put em in yer mouth and wash em down fast. No chewing no tasting. Just rides down to yer tummy on a wave of yer favorite beverage.

Ugh, I dont mind the taste of them... They dont taste disgusting, but I sure dont completely enjoy it. I can handle just chewing them up, but I dont like how they get stuck in my teeth like popcorn and I spend 20 minutes afterward trying to pry out those styrofoamie bits of magic.
I agree with the peanut butter thing, that should work just fine. I mean really, peanutbutter, peanutbutter HAS to mask the taste. Especially if you grind those buggers up with your pestal an' morter. (or coffie grinder for you wimps)

Tea is so much better. I never eat them anymore. Last time I did, I blended dried ones with about 32oz of lemonade. Big ass mistake. Acidic juice and indigestable mushroom tissue was hell on my stomach. Nausea, intense pain and pissing every 10 minutes would have been fine if I wasn't tripping my ass off at the time. Orange juice is not as bad, iirc.
The only thing with tea is that it hits you like a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick.

i dont care what any of these numb toungues say, your right man, that taste fucking sucks. no matter how great the trip, i always look back days later and say, what the fuck!
lol, but ur right, now i just throw them in capsules, a bit more time consuming, but at least you can save them forever in those things, and you can control ur trip dosage for sure.

It's not that bad of a taste. All I normally do is break the mushroom into little pieces and swallow with a drink.... red gatorade covers it desently, though there are a lot of other better ways to cover it up

Been doin' them for 22+ years, always the same way;
Put your dose in a blender, add 1/2 cup very sweet/strong Nestea sugar sweetened lemon flavored iced tea. Blend well ('til the shrooms are pulverized into tiny bits) then pour into a short (rocks) glass and spoon off the foam and discard it.
Chug it down. 2 or 3 swallows and your trippin' in 10 mins. No nausea, no pain, no taste but the iced tea!

Try grinding them up real fine with a pestal and morter and mixing them in applesauce. I tried that recently. I and no one else could really taste them until like the last few spoonfuls - and it looks cool - turned the applesauce into a blue-green color.

I dry mine and grind them to powder with my weed grinder. I like to pour powder in my mouth and wash it down with oj. I don't like to pour it in the drink because it sticks to the sides of the glass.

1. chop up the mushrooms and put em in a blender.
2. take a posicle, take it off the stick thing, break it half, put it the blender.
3. blend that shit up good, the mushrooms shouldnt be visible.
4. pour the mixture into a cup.
5.drink the slurry, no taste at all. I suggest using a grape popsicle.

Let's clear something up here; Pussy is by no means the worst taste in the world, bad pussy is. My taste is very sensitive, and I normally have an iron stomach. I can eat a full meal and finish it off with hard liquor with no vomit. I HATE mushrooms, and these are most likely the nastiest mushrooms ever. Ughhhh, I get shivers up my spine just thinking about mushrooms, all icky, their consistancy is just too liquid for my tastes. Blegh.

fresh mushrooms taste good, if they are'nt too wet, here is some info, that I feel right about, shrooms are nearer to sweet then starchy, so why would you want to increase the acicity? you want to neutralize the acicity, so starches are good, potatoes, nuts, have higher starch then vegatables, so I say, peanut butter is best to digest shrooms, unless you got a better starch.
