a/ Spray at a distance of around 4- 6" with a fine mist spray.
b/ Leave it alone, you can harvest the abhorts along with the fully grown fruits.

a. from above lightly... Do you think spraying pins directly is a good idea? no

b. yes it could be an abhort but just leave it alone and wait to find out. Do not cut it off unless you can tell over a few days it stopped growing. remember patience?
