Whole Wheat Flour and BRF?

Yesterday I went to the grocery store looking for actual BRF because my coffee grinder doesn't grind it fine enough but they didn't have any, so I picked up a 5lb bag of whole wheat flour for a dollar to see how it might turn out. When I made the jars I used a 50/50 mix of the coarse BRF and wheat flour instead of just straight BRF.

Will this work? I'm guessing it will work to some extent if it only uses the BRF, but will wheat flour work also?

Another quick question: People that use aquarium heaters, what temp is your water? Mine seems a little high (over 100F), but the air temp inside is only 82F.

On a side note..People looking for syringes: If you live near Maryland and you need syringes, you can buy them over the counter there. I drove to a pharmacy in Elkton yesterday and they sell the tips 5 for 1$. You can buy the 10cc tubes without them without a prescription in other states.
