Light malt/dextrose LC...What gives?

So i've tried to make a couple Light malt/dextrose LC's now and both times I've gotten nothing to happen with them. The first time I used 3 teaspoons each of LME and dextrose to I forget how much water but it came out to be about 3-4% lc. I ran it through a brand new coffee make twice and pc'd for 20 minutes @15psi. I let it cool for a day and then inoculated with a fresh texas spore syringe. I let the two quarts (filled about half way each with lc) sit for 5 days before checking up on them and nothing was happening. There was some sediment on the bottom but nothing else.
The second time I boiled a quart of water and mixed in a tablespoon each of LME and dextrose. I then split up the little less than a quart of lc between two quart jars. I poured the mixture through double coffee filters to get rid of some sediment. I then pc'd for 20 min @ 12-15 psi. Both times I used lids with rtv self healing injection port and the other side had a plastic tube that's maybe 3/8 of an inch with poly-fil in it. I left the lids loose while pc'ing and tightened immediately when the pc was cool enough for me to handle. Both times I inoculated with two different syringes of texas made with different spore prints. I've tested the syringes after by innoculating some grains and they went along fine.
So my question is, what gives? why can't I get anything to happen? here's the LME and dextrose I'm using:

Jeeez, you should delete or at least DOWNSIZE the pics.
DME/DEXTROSE has worked for me for YEARS. It is the preferred LC ingredients.
I suspect you may have a non-viable syringe.

I found that having the ability to give the jar a good shake after inoculation provides good airflow into the solution. I use a self-sealing port on both sides of the lid. I add air via syringe filled with polyfill.
Using MonsterMitch's LC tek has worked for me where a regular Dex\LME solution has failed. I use about 75% Dex and about 25% LME. Then like MM I use activated charcoal and gypsum which I found works great. All in the coffee machine.
