just let it do its thing. if you were to turn it over the mycillium which is now on top will give pins also. so, either way you're going to have growth from under the cake. what strain is it? good luck.

also, as long as you have indirect light coming from above it will come up.

i'v heard eq's are very good for first timers. they colonize fast and are faily easy to maintain while fruiting. you should have no problem with them. as for the b+, i've heard they are much better with casing. so it sound like you know where you are going. good luck.
