I woke up this morning and was getting ready to go to the store. Picked up my wallet and *gasp* had a terrifying O.M.E. Has anyone else experienced this?

Many times my fiend ......I even tried to prove to myself that the experience was entirely subjective and had no empirically proveable consensus reality by going to the store anyway and piling my usual assortment of things in my cart and going to the cashier and seeing if the fact I had just had an OME had any effect on wherther or not she'd let me have my things......she would't... and this proved without any doubt that the OME did in fact have an external point of reference in the real world

Oh yeah.. ya mean like when you wake up late and you dash out to the car and lock the door and then realize your keys are lying on the table? I had one of those yesterday.

As there are some hundred thousand species of flying insects, with varied responses to inclement weather depending on geography, severity, ecology, age, season; etc. I can only tell give you a vague overview.
Ants and termites go into their mounds, bees & wasps have hives, others will go into trees (live and rotting) and under plant leaves and so on.
The real question is where does the Mothman go when it rains?

Well I don't know what the Mothman is exactly. I have only heard of this talk of the Mothman Prophecies. But I will assume he is half moth/half man.. so I will take a guess and say it blindly flies to the closest light and keeps bumping into it over and over again until its wings are so wet that it falls to the ground and stays there until the sun comes out again and dries its wings off.

O.M.E.s freak me right the hell out, it's beyond embarrasing, it's like I feel dirty. That is, when I get caught in one. Otherwise, I still feel dirty, but it doesn't freak me out as much.
