When is the absolute best time to go to your favorite field and pick???

What time of the day, what weather circumstances?? Any opinions, experiance??

I like to go picking in broad daylight when cops are around. I also like to go picking when a thunderstorm rolls in, that way I have a greater chance of being struck by lighting because I'm the tallest object in the field... I'm livin on the fuckin edge!
